The British gentleman and über-DJ back to back with Paris’ most wanted. Three hours of pure sonic bliss!

Two true visionaries of electronic club music go back to back. In one corner we have _(artist-name)Andrew Weatherall_ who has worn a lot of hats in his career: Pop star producer, Balearic figure-head, electronic experimentalist, peerless explorer of the minimal techno sound, rockabilly enthusiast and the original moody DJ. His history goes back to the beginning of the British acid house scene and stretches through a string of legendary London clubs such as Blood Sugar, Circulation, and of course Sabresonic. It was through _(artist-name)Primal Scream_ that Andrew first made his name however, as the producer of the generation defining _(album-title)Screamadelica_ album, which fused narcotically challenged rock and acid house. And Andrew’s collaborations with the radioactive Keith Tenniswood as _(artist-name)Sabres of Paradise_ and later _(artist-name)Rotters Golf Club_ were only marginally less influential. In the other corner we have _(artist-name)Ivan Smagghe_, a native Parisian who gained notoriety as a radio DJ and founder of the electro duo _(artist-name)Black Strobe_. Always looking to push the boundaries of electronic music he has played residencies in clubs such as Fabric and Bugged Out as well as the legendary, now defunct, Parisian club Pulp. Running the label Kill The DJ for over a decade, Smagghe has more recently completed remixes for the likes of _(artist-name)The xx_ as one half of production duo It’s A Fine Line. His blog, afewthingsfromivansmagghe was compiled into a publication for influential fashion boutique and music connoisseurs Colette, and sold out in just a few weeks.
